Within Nature

Written, edited, cover design, published by Róisín Jenkinson, 2018

Within Nature is a book poetry that conveys and reflects on themes of belonging, weaving between the personal and political. The poetry delves into deeper questions of what it means to belong and how societal and psychological mentalities can form how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. While the poet grapples with the harsh truth of this world, she also reveals how much hope she sees in people, and if we stand united and work together it is possible to turn the world around.

The book is a part of her café exhibition series Everything has its place, which you can read about on her homepage.

In the 2nd half of this podcast, Róisín Anne shares a bit about herself as a writer, poet and live artist. She also shares a poem from this book.
